Tuition Assistance Application

Frankford Friends School partners with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to assist us in determining each family’s need for tuition assistance. Students applying for grades PreK through 8th are eligible to apply for tuition assistance.

Each FACTS Grant & Aid application provides the school with a thorough analysis of a family’s financial resources, including income, assets and expenses. This helps the Tuition Assistance Committee to fairly and equitably distribute awards. All personal information is held in the strictest of confidence.

The application is completed entirely online at https://online.factsmgt.com/Aid. There is a $35 fee, billed by FACTS.

In order to make the process easier, families will use the preceding year’s completed Federal Income Tax Form 1040. Once the new year’s forms become available, families must submit the current year’s W2 and 1099 forms. This is so we may substantiate that earnings have remained consistent with the preceding year’s income. All tuition assistance awarded is contingent upon the timely receipt of this information and is subject to change based on any new information.

New and Prospective Students
We encourage all families to apply early in fall for priority tuition assistance awards. Current FFS families are given priority and new applications are prioritized in the order in which they are received. Though more than a third of our students receive some form of tuition assistance, the demand for tuition assistance often exceeds the funds available.

Returning Students
Tuition assistance applications are renewed annually. The deadline for priority 2024-2025 applications is December 15, 2023. Applications must be complete (including all tax forms, documents and schedules) in order to qualify for review.  Applications received after the deadline will be placed in the general pool. In addition to tuition assistance awards, we offer several payment plans to accommodate and assist our families in their budgeting and planning. If you have questions about affording a Frankford Friends School education or need assistance with your Tuition Assistance application, please connect with our Tuition Assistance Director at kbarry@frankfordfriends.org.
