Every gift makes a difference.
Annual Fund gifts impact nearly all of the programs and people at Frankford Friends School. Gifts to one of our annual funds support the current year’s top priorities. Your gift will play an important role in harnessing the collective power of our community. We count on your support!
Your gift helps students.
Every Annual Fund gift helps Frankford Friends continue to be a place where everyone can thrive. Our tuition is markedly lower than any Quaker school in the Delaware Valley. Annual Fund gifts help fill the gap between tuition and our expenses, and allow students to experience all that a Frankford Friends School education has to offer.
Your gift is flexible.
Annual Fund gifts provide financial support where we need it most. Last year, annual funds helped with the Middle School renovations, teacher salaries, playground resurfacing, instruments, and supplies for the IDEA Lab. At other times, Annual Funds support library books, maintenance of the meetinghouse, art supplies, and community service. Anything is possible in how far we can go!
Your gift has power.
Since Annual Fund gifts are meant to be spent in the year given, they make an immediate impact. No matter how much you give, every dollar works hard to provide resources to an area you love. And with several annual funds to choose from, you can direct your support to an area of the School that is important to you.
You can designate your annual gift to make an immediate impact, support innovation or to foster our continued commitment to equity in our community by specifying the fund you wish to support.
The Impact Fund provides direct funds to support the immediate needs of the School’s students, teachers, programs, and our historic campus.
The Opportunity Fund supports mission-focused projects that ensure innovation, growth, and sustainability.
The Equity Fund enhances efforts to build and maintain an inclusive, socio-economically diverse community.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania offers two unique opportunities for individuals or businesses in the state to reduce their tax liability, while supporting students at Frankford Friends School. EITC and OSTC donors contribute to the tuition assistance programs at FFS with a gift as low as $3000, and receive a 90% tax credit from Pennsylvania on their gift. The application process is easy, but the benefit for Frankford Friends School students is enormous. If your company or business already has EITC/OSTC credits available, you can also delegate them directly to Frankford Friends School.

Bequests, charitable gift annuities, trusts and other planned giving arrangements are vital to the School’s work and future. Gifts that are part of a thoughtful, comprehensive estate plan provides a way for you to make a significant gift to FFS that was not possible at an earlier stage of life. Planned gifts can provide advantages such as lifetime income and tax benefits to the donor or other beneficiaries.
Many donors provide tangible items that the School needs for the educational program or our campus. The Development Office can help determine the acceptability of such gifts.
